This Standard specifies the flame test procedure by 45 centigrade degrees meker burner method for such flat materials less than 5 mm thick as board, plate, sheet, film, thick cloth and so on. However, this test procedure shall not be applied to the effective evaluation of the non-inflammability of thin materials which are short of non-inflammability class 3 under 2.1.
