This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the recording meter, hereinafter referred to as the 'meter', based on the glass electrode method to measure continuously pH of waste water at 0 to 40centigrade degrees of water region in general for public use including rivers, lakes and marshes, sea region, etc., and of factories and business places as well as sewage-treatment facilities.
