The standard describes a flame atomic absorption spectrometric and a spectrophotometric method for the determination of the ''soluble'' lead content of paints, varnishes and related products. The methods are applicable to products having ''soluble'' lead contents in the range of about 0,05 to 5 % (m/m). They are intended for use in connection with ISO 6713.
