The standard describes a flame atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the ''soluble'' barium content of paints, varnishes and related products. The method is applicable to products having ''soluble'' barium contents in the range of about 0,05 to 5% (m/m). It is intended for use in connection with ISO 6713.
