Full Description

This Standard prescribes procedures for testing reclosable closures and containers and non-reclosable unit packs intended for use with therapeutic substances and designated as being resistant to opening by children. Tests are described for evaluating the effectiveness of closures, containers and unit packs in restricting access by children, whilst permitting access by adults. Acceptance criteria are also specified.
