This American National Standard specifies requirements for application, inspection, training, maintenance, repair and safe operation of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (hereafter known as MEWPs).It applies to all types and sizes of MEWPs as specified in ANSI/SAIA A92.20 (design, calculations, safety requirements and test methods) that are intended to position personnel, along with their necessary tools and materials, at work locations.
