This standard states Approval criterial for horizontal (axial) or vertical (radial), split-case type, centrufugal fire pumps that supply water to fire protection systems. These pumps must be available for many years to operate relaibly at rated capacities and pressures during emergency fire incidents, depsite being idel fo extended periods.
