Full Description

This Global System for Mobile communications Technical Specification ( GTS) describes the procedures in the network related to location regis tration. They include: - location updating; - location cancellation; - periodic location updating; - IMSI attach/detach. The procedures in the Mobile Station (MS) are described in GSM 03.22. The procedures between MSC, VLR and HLR utilise the Mobile Applicatio n Part (MAP) and details concerning the exchange of information are co ntained in GSM 09.02.
