REASON 1: To allow display of the IMEI check digits and SVN with the IMEI. CONSEQUENCES OF NON-ACCEPTANCE 1: This amendment is required to avoid potential confusing displays. REASON 2: It is mandatory in France, and Italy, to be able to dial two digit numbers for emergency services and enquiry services after 1995. CONSEQUENCES OF NON-ACCEPTANCE 2: Emergency services and enquiry services in France and Italy will not be reachable by customers.
