The present document states the minimum requirements for a Narrow-Band Direct-Printing (NBDP) maritime receiver operating in the NAVTEX system.The equipment's function is to receive, display and/or print automatically and continuously, meteorological andnavigational messages and Search And Rescue (SAR) messages transmitted by coast stations participating in the NAVTEX system.
