ETSI ES 201 980 gives the specification for the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) system for digital transmissions inthe broadcasting bands below 300 MHz.With respect to the previous edition of ES 201 980 [i.3] published in June 2012, the present document adds the MPEGxHE-AAC audio codec and deprecates the former speech only codecs. In addition, service linking capability is includedand the maximum number of data applications accompanying an audio service is increased to four.
