The following procedures are recommended for the longtermstorage of industrial scale cooling towers. In general,long term storage is for an extended period of more than oneyear, but these recommendations can also be modified forseasonal storage. The techniques are divided betweenMechanical Equipment Storage (Article I) and WoodStructure and Related Components (Article II). These twogroups of components require the most attention becausethey will deteriorate rapidly if preventive measures are nottaken.
