Full Description

PS-15 provides recommendations for the use of nonmetallic materials in medical oxygen valve seat and packing materils. It highlights the need for evaluation of these materials with regard to balancing the materials' resistance to ignition and valve design with the potential generation of toxic compounds, and balancing quantity of nonmetallic materials with the potential amount of generated toxic by-products.
