This publication was written to help identify environmental regulatory requirements in the United States that can apply to environmental aspects associated with industrial gases operations. This publication principally addresses the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) federal regulatory requirements. Although U.S. states establish their own environmental regulations that can be more stringent, they generally follow the same approach as the federal requirements.
