The material defined by this specification is a grease consisting of lithium soap and mineral oil with molybdenum disulfide added to give the desired characteristics of a long life lubricant. The grease shall be a homogeneous product, free from oil separation, abrasive fillers, and shall be noncorrosive to lubricated parts in service.
