1.1 This test method covers the determination by differential scanning calorimetry of the metallic zinc content of both zinc-dust pigment, and of dried films of zinc-rich coatings. This test method is applicable to both inorganic and organic zinc-rich coatings. 1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only. 1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
