A three-stage cascade system was operated at the "Freon" Products Laboratory in conjunction with a secondary refrigerant calorimeter with the general objective of demonstrating satisfactory continuous operation and the specific goal of developing an oil system that would permit such operation. In this report the performance of the cascade system is described rather than details of the equipment.
