Joe wants designers to stay out of trouble. He presents approaches for insulating mass assemblies on the interior in various climate zones--with the following caveats--you need to keep the rainwater from excessively wetting the exterior and you need to keep the interior relative humidity low during the winter months in Climate Zones 5 and higher.
