Full Description

This document defines the specification of the Solid State Media (SSM) Card. The physical specificationprovides the physical characteristics of the Card and the connector. The electrical interface between a hostand the Card is a high performance bus and this document specifies the signal description, the electricalcharacteristics, and the bus operations. The register specification defines the registers for configuration andalso defines the specific registers related to interrupt signals or commands. The command specificationdefines the commands for the bus master data transfer and the sensing log information written in the SSMCard in addition to the ATA commands. To guarantee the performance of the SSM Card, requirements forwriting and reading speed are specified. The file system for the SSM Card is the FAT system.
