Full Description

This standard describes the carriage of VBI data and all ANC packets (HANC and VANC) in an MXF file. Thisstandard supports standard definition television and high-definition television for 8-bit and 10-bit digitalcomponent systems. This standard also defines the encoding of additional information so an MXF decodercan place the VBI data and ANC packets at the specified location in a reconstructed television signal. Thisstandard does not describe the content of the MXF VBI data and MXF ANC packet payloads, or theirconversion to and from networks and systems other than MXF.
