Applies to the manufacture of the following types of stretchers suitable for general ambulance work: Type 1, a wooden bearer collapsible stretcher with fixed, sliding or folding handles, and Type 2, a tubular steel (or suitable metal alloy) frame fixed stretcher with telescopic or fixed handles.
