Lays down essential requirements for the installation of pipes manufactured to NZS 4405. Details considerations to be taken into account in design calculations and installation procedures. Design soil compaction, design pressure, ring compression, stresses, thickness and handling stiffness are covered. Sectional properties for each size of the four corrugations are tabulated. Appendices include reference tables of cover limits for some railway and highway live loads. Identical to AS 1762:1984 with modifications for New Zealand.
