Specifies requirements that apply to natural gas compressors designed as suitable for continuous full load duty, mechanically, electrically or hydraulically powered and intended for cylinder refilling applications, together with their control systems and essential safety equipment. Such compressors are usually, but not necessarily, multistage reciprocating compressors with cooled lubricated cylinders of either trunk type or crosshead design.
