Formerly S92.04.01, Part I-1996. Establishes performance requirements for instruments used to detect oxygen-deficient/oxygen-enriched atmospheres. This Standard addresses the details of construction, performance, and testing of portable, mobile, and stationary electrical instruments used to provide a warning of the presence of oxygen-deficient or oxygen-enriched atmospheres. ISA-RP92.04, Part II, the companion recommended practice to this Standard, establishes user criteria for the installation, operation, and maintenance of oxygen-monitoring instrumentation.
