The purpose of the Aircraft Accident Digest is to disseminate accident report information to Contracting States. Publicationof the Digest began in 1951. Over the years States have reiterated their interest in the Digest not only as a valuable source of informationfor accident prevention, but also as a training aid for investigators and educational material for technical schools.
