1 Scope

1.1 Scope

1.1.1 This Standard covers rooftop adjustable pipe support systems for installation on flat roof surfaces for elevating and securing industrial piping and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

1.1.2 Rooftop adjustable pipe support systems covered by this Standard are between 3 in (76 mm) and 10 in (254 mm) in height and consist of a
(a) Base;
(b) Riser;
(c) Saddle; and,
(d) Self-locking or Nylon strap.
