1 Scope

1.1 Scope

1.1.1 This Standard covers flexible drainage, waste and vent connectors with fittings on either end intended for drainage, waste and vent applications in recreational vehicles and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

1.1.2 The flexible drainage, waste and vent connectors covered by this standard can be
(a) designed for use in recreational vehicle slide-out sections whereby a drain connection shall be maintained when the slide-out is in either the extended or retracted position.
(b) corrugated and un-corrugated connectors with fittings on either end.
Note: Fittings may be fixed or swivel type.
