1 Scope

1.1 Scope

1.1.1 This Standard covers vent pipe plastic membrane funnels intended for installation on vertical vent piping systems and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

1.1.2 Vent pipe plastic membrane funnels are installed on vent pipe to re-route any moisture (such as rain) that may trickle down the outside the vent pipe to the inside of the vent pipe and into the drain waste system while not compromising the integrity of the vent pipe.
