The purpose of this Inerim Guide Criteria is to establish a generally acceptable standard for producers, distributors, architects, engineers, contractors, inspectors and users; to promote understanding regarding materials, manufacture, and installation; and to provide for identifying flexible elastomeric mechanical fittings for use with plain end drain, waste, and vent (DWV) and plain end sewer (tubular waste) pipe, that comply with this IGC.
