Full Description

IAPMO IGC 305-2019(a) covers backwater valves intended for use in horizontal pipe runs (e.g., to floor drains, sewers, and holding tanks) and equipped with a moving sealing element that can be removed with a lifting device; and (iii) having an overall length of the access structure that may be more than 600 mm (24 in) from the access opening; and (b) specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings. Note: Horizontal backwater valves covered by this standard are classified in CSA B181.0 as Type IV backwater valves.
