The IADC Control Valve Qualification Testing Recommendation is designed to help improve reliability of hydraulic control valves by providing, within a single document, supplementary requirements for design qualification testing of specified types of BOP control valves. These recommendations are intended to provide guidance to improve safety, reliability, and performance of BOP Controls. Version 2.0 covers SPM and shuttle valves and incorporates new chapters on regulator and relief valves.
