Full Description

Electrified locking systems are comprised of input devices, locking devices, controlling devices,and power supplies. This Standard establishes requirements for electrified locking devices, whichcontrol door access. When the input or controlling device or both are an integral part of the lockingdevice, they shall also be covered by this standard. This standard includes requirements for cyclical,security, operational, strength, environmental, and finish tests for these products.
