Full Description

The results of this work indicate that the modified fouling index (MFI) is the best available index for prediction of membrane fouling, surface water foul membranes much faster than groundwaters at similar total organic carbon concentrations and that water quality separated by surface water and groundwater sources may possibly be utilized to predict membrane fouling.
