Full Description

This paper provides an overview of a simple, low budget community outreach program. The program, an educational outreach, is designed much like a college level curriculum with guest lectures and a progression of topics on water. The program's purpose is to develop a "water awareness" among an ever-growing corps of community members. This group, therefore, could become more active in water issues, become better decision-makers and would provide an informal "sounding board" on Water District projects and programs.
