This standard covers polyacrylamide (PAM) for use in water supply service. The main purpose of this standard is to provide the minimum general requirements for PAM products, including physical, chemical, packaging, shipping, and testing requirements and to provide the means of developing requirements for PAM products.This addendum to ANSI/AWWA B453-96 Standard for Polyacrylamide revises or replaces Page vi, Sec. I.C; Page viii, Sec. III.A.1.1; and Page 4, Sec. 4.5.
