This powerpoint presentation begins by providing project objectives of identifying on-line monitoring technologies that will: provide operational tools to help fine-tune thedistribution system water quality;improve vigilance and security of water systemsagainst attacks; and,allow Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) to gather and provide information tofurther engage the public health sector to helpassess and improve drinking water quality. An assessment overview is presented that includes: needs vs feasibility of technology;achievement of multiple benefits;Conceptual Design Methodology (equipment/sites/phases); and,technology trends and timing.
