Full Description

This standard establishes requirementsfor the performance, design, qualificationtesting, markings and instructions, inspections,maintenance and storage, and removal from serviceof self-retracting devices (SRDs) includingself-retracting lanyards (SRLs), self-retracting lanyardswith integral rescue capability (SRL-Rs), andself-retracting lanyards with leading edge capability(SRL-LEs). This standard establishes requirementsfor SRDs intended for use in personal fall arrest orrescue systems for authorized persons within thecapacity range of 130 to 310 pounds (59 to 141kg).
